2021 Vintage

We approached the 2021 vintage with great optimism, and we were not disappointed. While we are still grappling and adapting to the severe drought in California, the growing season had plentiful sunshine and moderate temperatures. This vintage will be remembered for low yields, small, concentrated clusters and flavorful berries.

2021 Tasting Notes

Elegant and classically styled. This aromatically complex Cabernet offers expressive notes of blue and black fruit, baking spices, and a subtle layer of espresso bean, followed by delicate aromas of violets and black tea. The entry is luscious and round while revealing a generous fruit forward core laced with cardamom and cinnamon spice. The youthful but polished tannins integrate seamlessly on the finish with fresh acidity, juicy fruit and a touch of vanilla. Very approachable now, but you’ll be rewarded with a little patience and a bit of time in the cellar.
