2021 VINTAGE NOTES:
After a wild 2020, we approached the 2021 vintage with great optimism. While still grappling with drought in California, the growing season delivered as we had all hoped: plentiful sunshine, moderate temperatures and a long, consistent growing season. Although the harvest produced a smaller crop than previous years, the 2021 vintage will be remembered for small, concentrated clusters of flavorful fruit and excellent quality

TASTING NOTES:
This vibrant and classic Russian River Pinot Noir is bursting with aromas of bright ripe cherry, raspberry, clove and sweet vanilla. The first sip is lush, savory and juicy on the palate with waves of bright Bing cherry and rhubarb accentuated with black tea and cola spice. A silky mid-palate reveals a ripe, red summer fruit core with tones of baking spice and graphite. Seductive and integrated tannins lift additional fresh summer strawberries and hints of rose petals that linger on the finish. Youthful and exuberant upon release, this wine is delicious right now and ready to enjoy. Those with a little more patience will be rewarded by giving the wine a bit more time in the cellar.
