2021 Symphony No.9 Sauvignon Blanc
After a wild 2020, we approached the 2021 vintage with great optimism. While still grappling with drought in California, the growing season delivered as we had all hoped: plentiful sunshine, moderate temperatures and a long, consistent growing season. Although the harvest produced a smaller crop than previous years, the 2021 vintage will be remembered for small, concentrated clusters of flavorful fruit and excellent quality.
Expressive and seductive aromas of fresh pineapple, lychee, white peach and lemon meringue jump out of the glass. Soft, round and juicy on the palate with firm acidity, a creamy texture and mouthwatering notes of grapefruit, yellow peach and limeade. A symphony of tropical yumminess gracefully evolves into a lingering finish of ripe Meyer lemon, lavender and a touch of nuttiness. Serve chilled and pop the cork. Sip, repeat and enjoy.
